A New Chapter
Continuing to Care While Pursuing Medicine
One of the greatest privileges of my career has been earning the trust of my clients. Whether you've been with me for years or are just discovering my practice, I want to share an exciting new chapter in my professional journey.
I am honored to have been accepted into Fordham University's Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program, where I have begun the next step toward my lifelong goal of becoming a physician.
For many people, this announcement may come as a surprise. However, for me, it feels like a natural progression. Throughout my career as a licensed acupuncturist, clinical massage therapist, and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, I have been driven by one purpose: helping people heal, reduce pain, improve function, and live healthier lives.
That purpose has never changed.
Medical school represents an opportunity to expand my knowledge, deepen my clinical training, and broaden the ways I will be able to serve patients throughout my career. My vision has always been to practice medicine with compassion, curiosity, and a whole-person perspective while integrating the best available evidence with thoughtful, individualized patient care.
Acupuncture Remains an Important Part of My Journey
As I begin this exciting academic path, I want to reassure my clients that I am not stepping away from acupuncture entirely.
Acupuncture has profoundly shaped the clinician I am today. It has taught me to listen carefully, treat each individual as a whole person, and appreciate the importance of time, presence, and meaningful therapeutic relationships. Those lessons will remain with me throughout my medical career.
While my schedule will be more limited as I balance rigorous coursework, I will continue to practice because caring for patients remains one of the most meaningful parts of my professional life.
Now Practicing in New York City
I am pleased to continue providing acupuncture and integrative pain management services in New York City at Integrative Spine & Sports.
Practicing within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment allows me to collaborate with other healthcare professionals while continuing to provide individualized, evidence-informed acupuncture and integrative pain management. This collaborative setting reflects the direction I have always envisioned for my career—bringing together different disciplines with one shared goal: helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
My Clinical Focus
As I transition into this new phase, my practice will continue to emphasize:
Orthopedic and musculoskeletal pain
Sports injuries
Neck and back pain
Headaches and migraines
Stress-related conditions
Functional movement and recovery
Integrative approaches to chronic pain
Nervous system regulation
Mental and emotional wellbeing
Reproductive and women’s health
To ensure that every client continues to receive the attention and quality of care they deserve, appointment availability will be intentionally limited.
Looking Ahead
Over the coming years, my schedule may continue to evolve as I progress through my pre-medical education, medical school, and residency training. Whenever changes occur, I will communicate them well in advance.
Although the structure of my practice may change over time, my commitment to my clients will not.
Every person who has trusted me with their care has played a meaningful role in my professional journey. I am deeply grateful for your confidence, encouragement, and support.
Whether you have been part of my practice for years or are considering acupuncture for the first time, I look forward to continuing to care for you during this exciting new chapter.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your healthcare journey. I am excited for what lies ahead, and I look forward to sharing this next chapter with you.
